The Training of Trainers On Peace and Disarmament Education

Opening ceremony of ToT   Paticipants in Training Group Discussion	The Peace Education and Awareness Unit in WGWR conducted the Training of Trainers on Peace and Disarmament Education on 23 to 25 May 2005 in Banteay Meanchey province that had 30 participants, and 3 facilitators, Mrs. Huot Thavory (PEA Program Manager), Ms. Chhim Ratana, and Mr. Norng Vanara. The Objectives of this Training are ÷ - To introduce the concept of peace and disarmament education to Cambodian high school teachers - To introduce WGWR's Peace and Disarmament Curriculum to morality teachers - To train teachers to understand and use the curriculum - And to improve pedagogical skills through practice.  At the end of the training teachers feels confident in their teaching ability, especially they are more awared about the need for education related to peace, disarmament, non-violent, mediation and related concepts.
